Please note that the SCG or OCG is an examination/assessment for primary teachers who have obtained their primary teaching qualification outside of the Republic of Ireland and for whom the Teaching Council has identified and attached the Irish condition to their registration. If the Teaching Council does not attach an Irish condition to you registration then undertaking the SCG or OCG will be of no benefit to you.
